


The venue supports and promotes inquiry, the open exchange of ideas, and the power of academic, interdisciplinary convening. The David Rubenstein Forum is a University-wide facility for scholarly and academic discourse on campus. Will assist clients with event design consultation and overall meeting & event management. He/She/They are responsible for space and logistics planning to optimize the group space to revenue ratios, contract negotiations and function space management through Delphi.fdc, and other related software or interfaces. He/She/They are responsible for revenue generation at the property to include direct sales, meeting package sales, catering sales and food and beverage sales. The Sales & Events department serves as the primary liaison between The David Rubenstein Forum and University of Chicago groups or associations, alumni, education or external corporate clients. Provides sales efforts to achieve property sales objectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues.
